Stage 4 Opening

Supporters, dignitaries, parents, and members of the public are invited to a Morning Tea Celebration on Thursday 6th July at 10:30am, as new areas of Grace Vineyard Beach Campus continue to open after major redevelopment.  The two purpose built music rooms and the outdoor pre school play area are the latest areas to open, with support from funders such as Creative NZ, The Lion Foundation, Pub Charity Ltd, Playmatta, the Grace Vineyard congregation and a Ministry of Education Playgroup Grant.  It will also be an opportunity to look around the rest of the development and chat to staff who are using it on a daily basis.  Please let us know if you intend on coming, so we can get enough morning tea!  If you can’t make the 6th July, but would like to visit another time, we’d love to show you around and tell you the stories about what difference the building development is making to our programmes.

Thanks Z Energy

Thanks to everyone who used their Orange Tokens to vote for Youth Alive Trust in the recent Z Energy Good in The Hood campaign. Donations like this help us to continue doing good in our hood – and who knows where and who those good ripples will spread too  🙂

Amazing Leaders…

So proud of our senior youthworkers who work on a variety of programmes at Grace Vineyard Beach Campus and in the New Brighton communuty every week. We pray your mid-year training at Living Springs was refreshing, encouraging and inspiring enough to keep you going for the next few months, years & decades! Thank you for all you do 🙂

Bye Esther…. Hello Olivia!

We’re sad 🙁 to publicly announce that Esther Mitchell is leaving YAT for new pastures (including a wedding to a certain volunteer!) We thank Esther for all the work and enthusiasm she has brought to her role of supporting young people on the east, both in school, clubs, holiday programmes and oscar for the past 2.5 years. However, we’re excited 😀 to announce her replacement, Olivia Brown, who brings many talents, including a love of cooking, events and fun times! (Photo taken at today’s Kitchen Klub – the official hand over begins!)

Arrowstrike

We had an awesome time with the Arrow Strike team on Friday night. Our intermediates and teens said that Arrowstrike is the best game they’d played all year! Everyone got involved, and it was easy for anyone to learn. Can’t recommend Josh and Mal highly enough! I wonder if there’s enough interest from people to set up a weekly pay as your play league??

Youth Alive Trust

Check our video from Friday night with Youth Alive Trust Youth Group playing Arrow Strike. You guys were awesome we hope you had fun! #ArrowstrikeNZFor your event please message us on Facebook or email at info@arrowstrike.co.nz
